We’re pleased to invite you to a third and final open house for the Buena Vista Bike Blvd. project on August 20 from 5 – 7 pm at the Heights Community Center. We’ll share final design plans and will be available to discuss next steps, proposed improvements, answer questions, and accept feedback. This project is on Buena Vista Dr from Gibson to Central. Project Background: The City’s 2024 Bikeway and Trail Facilities Plan identified and prioritized bikeway projects around the City. The proposed Buena Vista Bike Boulevard from Gibson Blvd to Central Ave is a very high-priority project. This project will design a bike boulevard, including traffic calming and three mid-block crossings with half signals at Gibson Blvd, Avenida Cesar Chavez, and Central Ave, which will make it easier and safer for people to cross the street.
