On Sept. 19, the creative community of Burque will transform the National Hispanic Cultural Center into a living, breathing work of art—a place where music, creativity, and culture collide in a kaleidoscope of color, movement, sound and connection. By day, immerse yourself in large-scale art installations, hands-on maker activities, and interactive experiences that invite all ages to create, play, and explore. Wander through a world of sculpture, movement, and performance where artists and community collectives turn the city into their canvas—made possible through the generous support of the City of Albuquerque. Savor Albuquerque with local food, craft beverages, and bold flavors, from traditional New Mexican bites to creative culinary twists. Explore a curated market of artisans and makers, showcasing handcrafted goods, art, and unique treasures from local makers. Move through performances, installations, food, and moments you don’t plan for. This year’s lineup is headed up by Wax Motif, Duckwrth , VNSSA, and twin house duo Coco and Breezy SOMOS is built by the people who show up — with their creativity, their culture, their questions, and their experiments.
