You are invited to the New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women’s annual 2026 Women’s Economic Summit: Policy to Practice on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. The Summit is free to attend and will explore how public policy can create meaningful and lasting improvements in the economic security of women and families across New Mexico. Throughout the day, attendees will hear research on the current state of women’s economic security in New Mexico, participate in panel discussions on Paid Family and Medical Leave and Universal Child Care, and learn how these policies support working families, employers, and communities. The afternoon will feature facilitated table discussions where participants can share their experiences and ideas, followed by a policy series highlighting current legislative approaches to strengthening economic security, including topics such as Baby Bonds, Period Equity, Affordable Housing, and Universal Basic Income. We hope you will join us for this important day of learning, collaboration, and action! Please register as an individual using the following link: https://nmcsw.org/womens-summit/
